SEVERE TORTURE Drummer Comments On Upcoming Tour With DEW-SCENTED

January 16, 2008

Fresh from the release of the well-received "Sworn Vengeance", Dutch death metallers SEVERE TORTURE are about to embark on a European tour with Germany's DEW-SCENTED.

SEVERE TORTURE drummer Seth van der Loo comments: "On February 1st we will meet with our friends from DEW-SCENTED in Paris to start our European tour, supported by French metallers DESTINITY. After our new release, 'Sworn Vengeance', we can't wait to hit the stage and play this stuff live. Combined with some old brutal force I think we can put up the most brutal and diverse SEVERE TORTURE show so far! We hope to see a lot of people out there and party hard!"

"Sworn Vengeance" was recorded at Excess Studios and Pit Studio in Holland during April, while the mixing sessions took place in June at Hertz Studios in Poland. The band enlisted the help of Jason Netherton (MISERY INDEX) and Che Snelping (ex-BORN FROM PAIN) for the track "Buried Hatchet" on which both contribute guest vocals.
